This my be a stupid question but do you think where the drivers motorhomes are parked is a quiet place?
ByI mean they are in the infield and since i have never been either in the infield for a race or in a drivers motor home i was just wondering if you think they can get a good night sleep with all the activity around them. I am assuming there is a curfew of some type but i may be wrong.

They are in a guarded area inside a luxury coach that drowns out a lot of sound. And where they are parked is away from normal activity of the infield….(where possible). The larger tracks like Daytona, Talladaga, Michigan and the likes have plenty of room to keep nightly parties at bay as not to disturb. Some drivers stay at nearby hotels.

The curfew for most tracks is eleven(as far as music and such goes). It is usually pretty quiet over in that area.

I’ve been in the infield many times with my Uncle who is a Nascar offical he has been parked by many Nascar drivers, mostly the ones who play poker cause he plays in a lot of the poker things that they have going on.. But, since my Uncle has very strict rules, I’m normally in bed early like everyone else. Most of the motorhomes these guys have are very well sounded. For me I always sleep with ear plugs even at home, cause I have noisy neighbors. My Uncles motorhome I have actually caught a few naps during the day time with the cars out running on the track during practice.. Its a life style these drivers, crews, motorhome drivers, officials they are use to it.. “noise what noise”.

It is very quiet inside these motor-coaches. I stay in one when I am at the track and when testing. They are very comfortable as well!

The drive/owners lot at Talladega is a secured area behind the cup garage.Though in the infield they are in an area where the security and police teams controll access.THis keeps traffic and most noise down as the majority of the infield parking/camping is in turns 1 & 2 and in turn 3,turn 4 is a luxury parking area and controlled access.
