What do you consider to be camping?

Taken from another post that simply asked, “Do you like camping?” So I’m curious as to what people actually think camping is.
1. Backpack in, set up your own tent, build fire to cook, no showers, no bathrooms.
2. Drive in, set up your own tent, build fire to cook, community bathrooms & showers.
3. Drive in with pop up camper, build fire to cook, community bathrooms & showers.
4. RV with utility hook ups and your own bathroom & shower, grill out on gas grill or cook in RV kitchen.
5. Rent cabin in woods that has it’s own bathroom & shower, grill out on charcoal bbq.
6. Hotel without 24-hour room service.
So if someone said to you, “Do you want to go camping?” what would you be expecting to do (from above choices)?

King bed, air conditioning, TV, and room service
the first one is the only true camping.
a or b is the only way to go a is better
2
have done 1 and it’s no fun
1
back pack tent camp fires,i don’t know if i could do the no shower thing though.
I’ll go with number 6 – Hotel without 24-hour room service.
I would expect either #1 or #2!
1. is the best camping except I would drive in
1-4 Camping
5 & 6 are not.
Where your bathroom is a bush or tree, your shower a stream, your bed a pile of leaves, your last thought before you drift off into wah wah land is the countless number of stars….
I say #2. There is no other way for me.
