Okay so here’s the situation. I’m only 16. I’m finishing my last year of high school. I currently live with my brother, his massive, ogre of a wife, and their 3 toddlers (monsters). I have never been more miserable, and I’ve been with them for two years now. You don’t understand how TERRIBLE these kids are! They’re obsessed with cursing and neither parent cares. The oldest came up to me yesterday while I was watching a movie, after smashing his Pop-Tart all over the couch AND me, and told me that if I didn’t go fetch his cup from his upstairs bedroom, he was going to hit me in the face with this plastic toy helicopter. I thought he was joking and I told him to get his cup himself and he HIT ME IN THE FACE WITH THE GD’D HELICOPTER, and gave me a bloody nose. Neither parent cared, and I’m not about to lecture/punish a child that isn’t my own. What’s worse; they FORCE me to babysit all three toddlers at least FIVE DAYS A WEEK. When I go to school, from the minute they get home ’til midnight when my brother gets off work. Oh, yeah, that’s right. They don’t go to bed until 1-2 AM. The oldest stays up until 3-4 frequently.
So obviously this just isn’t working. I’m miserable. I hate them and they hate me. Why am I here in the first place? My mother married an abusive animal hoarder (NOT my dad!). The house they live in is absolutely filthy and disgusting. I hated it, but put up with it because I had nowhere else to go and my dad wasn’t willing to fight for custody of me. But then my introverted, quiet, creepy, pedo-bear, that weird guy from The Lovely Bones-ish step-dad decided that he was going to drag me downstairs by my hair, throw me out the front door, chase me with a fugging rake, call me a “worthless piece of shit”, and then he said something I’ll NEVER forget; “I’d give you a bullet, but you’re not worth the price”, and then he let me go. My mom watched the whole thing.
My mom knows I hate it here. She says she can ~~~*TRANSFORM*~~~ the basement into a room for me. She’s offering to put carpet in for me, or whatever flooring I want, to paint the walls whatever color I want, and that I can pretty much just fucking live in the basement. The thing is, that’s where her husband’s beloved cats happen to live, and I’ve never seen anything so terribly disgusting. It’s gotten 300x worse than when I left.
She’s also offering to get me a “camper” or something to live in, in the backyard or something, which I find completely stupid. And then, she’s offering to pay for a small apartment that we can share in the town I plan on attending college, near on-campus. But it’d be a terrible apartment, and she would stay there all the time because it’s right on her route coming and going from work. And truth be told, I can’t stand the sight of or her. I hate her. With a fiery passion. She did this to me.
So… any advice would be well appreciated. Thanks. <3

If I were you I would continue to live with my brother. Just talk with him and tell him how you feel about his kids. When you are babysitting them you have the right to punish them, that’s what I think anyway. I would definitely not go live with my mother again. That sounds a lot worse than having to deal with annoying toddlers. So just talk to your brother. Hope this helps. (:

Ok, so I’ve gotten myself into a bind of sorts. Upon being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, I took a job in Colorado Springs, Colorado and I am still here. Anyway, long story short, I got laid off here and started going to the community college here and am now at the satellite CU campus here in town. First of all, I would like like to say that I feel that, at least in terms of academics and professors, that the school is pretty good and I would give it an A for a letter grade. However, with that said and despite the fact that Colorado Springs is a beautiful/scenic town, I am not happy with the demographics of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Specifically, there is ZERO dating potential for a single man here in this town UNLESS you are an active duty Soldier or Airman (just like Camp Lejeune/Jax, NC was) because alot of women are looking for financial security in a serviceman’s paycheck. Moreover, most women who move here do so with their Army or Air Force husbands. I have met some other female student veterans in my classes, but, I kid you not, they are ALL already married. I have a 4.0 GPA so far this semester and I tend to excel academically, but I am socially isolated to the EXTREME and have grown tired of being this way due to being stuck here in this town. I applied to UT Austin last semester and was rejected due to them literally not having the space for out of state students because Texas has so many people. Moreover, I called OU in Oklahoma today and was told that the Yellow ribbon program which pays out of state tuition for veterans is FULL. I am about to the point where I just about ready to say F*** it and pay out of state tuition at either UT Knoxville, UNC-Asheville, or Western Carolina University since my family lives out there. Do you think that I would be making a mistake by moving back home and having to literally take out extra thousands of dollars in order to pay out of state tuition OR do you think that I should do just that for my mental well being? One of my goals upon leaving the Marine Corps was to be able to date and eventually start a family, but it isn’t going to happen for me so long as I stay in this “prison town”.
Sure there are women in Colorado Springs. the thing is that 90% of them are ALREADY married AND the women at my college only want to go out with guys that they went to high shcool with.

alright, so I recently moved to Lawton, Oklahoma. From El Paso , Texas. (military) El Paso was the best place ever.♥ it really did mean a lot to mean to be living there. I’m a 12 year old girl, and I want to fly back there for the summer. My parents are going to send me to camp for just a week. (no phone or internet..o;<) and they want to send me somewhere else after camp. I asked to go to El Paso, and they told me no ’cause i’m going to turn into a thug when come back. My friend already offered for me to stay with her. And I REALLY want to visit. What should I tell my parents in order for me to go?

1. Ro is a seventeen year old girl whose dream is to become an artist; she’s also told she needs to get out more. She lives in a small town in Minnesota with her father and step-mother who tries way to hard to replace Ro’s real mother. Ro’s father hardly supports her in her dream, and the only person that actually does is Dax, her best friend. Now, you may think that they may fall in love later on, but Dax is gay; and has his eyes on the hottest senior in school; Ace. With that, Ro intends to help Dax get Ace one way or another; for Dax knows for a fact that Ace is also gay; and he has proof. One thing leads to another, and the next thing Ro knows, she’s in Ace’s bathroom getting evidence!

2. Jessi is like a tiger; strong and fierce. She can be very intimidating, but that’s what Ethan loves about her. Ethan has been gazing at Jessi ever since they had to be lab partners back in the seventh grade. Jessi may not know it, but she’s very pretty; and Ethan is happy to point that out to her. The only thing that’s stopping Ethan is Jessi’s love for Ethan’s best friend, Louis. Jessi and Louis have been dating for a few months now, and things are starting to get serious. How will Ethan tell Jessi he loves her without backstabbing his best friend?

3. Camp Willow is a camp for teens with issues. Vicky knows that, and she knows she doesn’t have problems. So why is she being sent to Camp Willow? The answer is impossible to answer for Vicky. Vicky has to leave behind her best friends, her crush, and her twin sister for a whole two months. Vicky is angry with her mom, and she’s even more angry that her sworn enemy will be there, as a councelor!
