Question by No-man-s Land: Does anyone want to defend Obama’s flip-flops on issues?
Obama pre-office adamantly opposed the Patriot Act, calling it a civil rights violation:

“I hope we can pass a provision, just like the one that the House of Representatives passed overwhelmingly, that would require federal agents to get search warrants from a real judge in a real court, just like everyone else does.” – Obama regarding the Patriot Act

Obama strongly opposed the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, but when he became president he increased the war efforts and began bombing Yemen, Libya and Syria. Here is a quote regarding the war:

“Let me say this as plainly as I can: By August 31, 2010, our combat mission in Iraq will end,” Obama said in a speech at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

“By any measure, this has already been a long war,” Obama said. It is time to “bring our troops home with the honor they have earned.”

So do any liberals want to defend this flip-flop? Barack Obama is obviously George Bush in different clothing. As a REAL liberal, I have no reason to vote for him as he’s consistently lied and flip-flopped on his issues that I supported him most for.
By the way, that bill extends the life of roving wiretaps, court-ordered searches of business records, and the surveillance of suspects without known ties to terrorist groups.

And guess what? Political ideologies such as mine can be called terrorist groups and be LEGALLY searched and seized without due process. How in the HELL can anyone support this and call themselves a liberal?

I have been planning a cross country trip for a few years and I am finally about to go within the year. The last thing I would like to know is if anyone has suggestions for where to get a class c rv. i have looked at ebay and sites like that and dealerships. I was wondering if anyone had specific experiences, or if you know anyone getting rid of one. ALso, any info or advice would be greatly apprreciated. thank you

We are full-time RV’ers, and we are going to buy a bigger RV but we want to rent a Pickup truck with either a 5th wheel hitch or a regular hitch to tow one-way over 1000 miles. Does any one know where you can rent one because none of the rental companies allow towing?

I’ve just heard that as of today, over 1 million have been sent from the McCain campaign to known Obama supporters in OHIO and MICHIGAN (2 KEY states) so that their votes WILL NOT be counted.

my friends and i love smoking hookah, but we use our pipes when we go camping and, heh, since it’s a blizzard outside that isn’t possible right now. plus the temperature is generally always chilly this time of year so we want to find a great hookah bar in new york. anyone have any suggestions?

Does anyone know any good and I mean like really good camping ground that are worth going to, like for example the lake is clear or something because I always go to Piru Lake and its nice but the lake is like brown and i’m sick of seeing the same thing again and again. I used to go target shooting (plinking) at browns camp but since they shut that down we are looking for a good safe and legal place to shoot – not a shooting range though, a place out in the woods not to far from the road.
