I am planning on going camping in california. i live in new york. tomorrow is my flight. i was wondering if i could bring a machete on the plane if i packed it in my suitcase. the whole thing is about the length of my forearm and i am 5’9″. So would i be able to bring it on and should i tell them beforehand about it?
i do mean put it in my suitcase, not a carry on

Our dog was having trouble breathing while we were camping and my dad took her to the vet. They found she had an enlarged heart and there was nothing they could do and they had to put her to sleep so she would not suffer…I realize not wanting to bring the body 6 hours on a drive home, but why wouldn’t they offer her ashes or something to us?? Is there a law or something that doesn’t allow that? Please help!

I just got my Canadian citizenship and I’ll be living in Ontario for the summer. I’m also an American citizen. My friends and I are going on a camping trip in June and they want me to bring A LOT of alcohol for them since our booze is soooo much cheaper. I can’t seem to find out how much I’m allowed to bring? At the border should I just show them my American passport and not mention I’m canadian?

I’m starting a dance camp next week, and I’m just wondering what I should bring with me, and what I should wear???
It’s a ballet, jazz, tap, and hip-hop mix. I’m supposed to come prepared, but I’m not really sure what to wear there, because I don’t know what type of dance we’re doing on the first day. Please help!!!!

Hey!
I cheer for my school and we are going to camp this June.
It’s the first time I’ve been to any camp or been on any cheer squad.
So, any help you can provide is great!(:

My little sister (Age 11) is going camping for the first time. I’ve never been camping before so I have NO idea what to buy for her. She’s sleeping in a cabin not a tent so I know I don’t have to buy a tent. Can anyone give me some ideas on what to buy her?

— The trip is 3 days and 2 nights.

— Food must provide lots of energy (a lot of canooing is involved).

— We will have access to purified & boiled lakewater.

— We will have access to a simple stove.

— Anything in cans or glass bottles is highly discouraged
(Unless it could be put in a tupperware or something).

— Whatever we bring in, we bring out, so foods with a lot of packaging are discouraged.

**For your answer, I prefer specific examples/ideas of what foods to bring rather than vague guidelines, but both are welcome as answers.
