The Cons of Buying Used Motor Homes

Although there are a number of pros or plus sides to buying a used motor home, there are also a number of cons or downsides to doing so as well. One of those downsides is the selection that you will have to choose from While it is more than possible to come across a number of used motor homes that are for sale, it is often harder to shop for a used motor home than it is for a new one, especially if you are looking for something in particular. Another one of the downsides to buying a used motor home, instead of a new one, is the risks that you end up taking.

Tent Buying: Under $100?

Posted by: | Comments (3)

Hi, I’m looking into buying a tent and was wondering if anyone would know one that would fit my needs.

I’m spending 5 weeks camping in Alaska. It’ll be coldest 30 degrees. I need a small tent that’ll fit me and my hiking backpack, so maybe a two person tent. It needs to hold up to rain and be durable enough to last for the full 5 weeks.

My maximum price is $100, but I’m ideally looking for something around $60.
Has anyone bought a tent that might fit these needs? If it’s over that price, please answer anyway, I might be able to find it cheaper on ebay or something.

Thanks!

Buying a pop up camper in PA?

Posted by: | Comments (1)

I’m thinking of buying a pop up. I live in Philadelphia. Can they be left on the street and not be ticketed or do I have to put it in storage? I live in a safe neighborhood so I’m not concerned about vandalism, but more so about the legal aspect. Do they have to be registered and insured? I need all the information you can help with. I haven’t a clue about owning one. Thanks for any help in advance!!
