Where should I camp in California?
Posted by: | CommentsI’m trying to find a remote location near LA / Bakersfield California to take my girlfriend camping. I would love to take her on a 3+ mile hiking trip ( I have done these in the past with much success ) for approximately 2 nights and 3 days. Yet, I’m having some trouble finding good information on places that aren’t going to be overrun by people, or have a swimming pool nearby. Any recommendations, advice, tips, experiences, etc are welcome. Thank you!

Good camp round in Maryland for guys in early 20s?
Posted by: | CommentsIm looking for a good camp round area in maryland or maybe even virgina. A few old high school buddies are trying to organize something. We are in our early 20s so want some good activities around i.e fishing, rafting, hiking instead of a mom and pop area. We are coming from NJ so cant be much more than 3-4 hours from there.
I am a teenager so I prefer non-sporting bathing suits and I need it quick so I can’t order it from a catalog or online. I need to go to the store and buy one. I also live in Connecticut so I cant go to a store out of state to get one so Please Help?
I have never been to a camp before, I’m going with 7 other women for a girls clean weekend on August 3, 4, & 5th 2007. Some say you have to bring a pillow and blanket. Do they feed you at camp for free or pay or do we need to go to a resturant? Please help us have a organized weekend. Thank you

Whew, looks like my fiance did okay.. He only brought his wallet with social security and cash.. He didn’t even bring a tube of toothpaste, just a sample he thru away at the hotel!
