What would be a good campsite in minnesota that is friendly to new campers?
Posted by: | CommentsI have never been camping before but I absolutely want to be in a place where there aren’t any other campers around me. I want to be secluded but at the same time, be in a place where it isn’t a long hike to civilization. I will be going in a group of 5-6 people.

Best Camping spot for first time campers near Vegas.?
Posted by: | Commentsso my 4 year old daughter recently decided that she reallllllyyy wanted to go camping (thanks a lot Dora).. anyways I figured it was time to start planning a fun family get away, I’ve been camping as a kid and loved it! but im a little worried since it will only be my daughter and myself and maybe my mom, no man to scare away the big bears, or get the fire started. So i guess my question is there a reasonably priced family friendly camping area anywhere near Mesquite Nevada. Id like to stay fairly close to home so closer than 200 miles id say. I would really like to take my daughter fishing if at all possible. So i guess we are looking for something like this:
*tent camping
* not to far from home
* Close enough to other people in case we needed help
Lil but far enough apart to fell like we are actually camping.
* fishing ![]()
* I guess just a good first time camp spot! if there is such a thing! Ive looked at bryce canyon online but didn’t find a lot of info.
Anyone have any info on Dutchman pop up campers?
Posted by: | CommentsI bought a 1996 Dutchman pop up camper. It needs some TLC, but it is going to be a good pop up camper. Has anyone owned a Dutchman? This camper does not have any info with it. I have no idea how much it weights. It has the king bed, and the double bed, it is the model that has the shower, and toilet. It is a 12 foot box. I just had to replace the winch to raise it, it had a stripped gear. If anyone has ever owned one of these, I would like to hear some info, like weight, reliability, any problems with them. Thank you..

OKLAHOMA CITY — The New Mexico Department of Public Safety says they have not been able to determine how escaped Arizona inmates crossed paths with Linda and Gary Haas, of Tecumseh, last week in New Mexico. But word of their murder is causing concern among other campers. So AAA Oklahoma is offering advice for those on the road. Spokesperson Danial Karnes says travelers should always know their …
