Appropriate dress for tent camping?
March 10, 2010 — adminI’m going camping in New Hampshire in a couple of weeks. With the weather cooling down at night lately, what would be appropriate to wear inside of a sleeping bag that will help keep me warm at night, but won’t feel constricting or overheating?
We’ll be taking my car directly to the campsite.

March 10, 2010 — adminMy family and I have taken up tent camping. We live in North Metro Atlanta and would like to stay in the north Georgia area. We have found one place we do like, but would like to have a variety of options. The difficulty is this, we like to take our 80lb dog who loves to swim and need somewhere that will allow this. The one place we go has a nice size creek beside it where the kids and dog can all play together. We are looking for other similar places.
Camping Survival Trip in Midwest?
March 10, 2010 — adminI live in Kansas and would like to take a 3-4 day “survival camping trip”. Basically, I would like to find a forest filled area with plenty of streams and large enough to hike quite a few miles a day during the trip (maybe ten miles a day, so 20 miles down, 20 miles back). Anywhere in the Midwest would be great. Any suggestions?
Obviously the place needs to be vacant of people and other campers and not an “established” camping grounds in the sense that there are families camping left and right.
I live in connecticut, where can me and my friends go camping, somewhere fun with nice scenery?

Rustic/wilderness camping in Michigan or Indiana?
March 9, 2010 — adminHi, I’m looking for a good rustic/wilderness campground in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, or in upper Indiana. I’d like a completely ‘live off the land’ experience, so no modern hook-ups or anything. Just good, old-fashioned tent camping in the woods, not in regular camping sites. Thanks for your help!
