Where is a nice place to live in North Carolina?
Posted by: | CommentsI just moved to NC and I am looking for a nice mix of mountains and lakes, if not the ocean for hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, etc. However, I still want to be close enough to a city to be able to go once in a while. I don’t want to be completely out in the sticks. I currently am renting a place in South Charlotte, which is DEFINITELY not for me. I was looking at the Lake Norman area, but it seems very built up there as well. I also went to Ashville, which was nice, but not really my scene. Any suggestions?

Is there class graduating from boot camp the weekend of June 9th in South Carolina?
Posted by: | CommentsMy friend and I are planning a road trip along the east coast before she moves to the west coast this summer. We’re going all the way down the east coast and want to stop in North Carolina to sleep somewhere, we’re trying to do ocean front camping. I’ve been looking all over the place online and all of them are a little ways away from the actual beach, we’re wondering if there are any places to camp out in a tent literally ON THE BEACH where you can pitch a tent and have a small camp fire and everything. Preferably somewhere in the outerbanks or maybe even Wrightsville Beach area, but honestly I really do not care where as long as someone gives me some websites for OCEAN FRONT camping!! please help us!
