What can I do for fun during my summer holiday?
Posted by: | CommentsI am 17 and in Wales visiting relatives but no one wants to do anything, my cousins are aged all aged 13-15 and just want to sit at home, sleeping till 2pm, listening to rap on their Ipods and watching Hannah Montana.
Not far from where they live there is a hiking/camping area but they “don’t want to get dirty”
There is a swimming pool round the corner but they can’t be bothered going”
And there is a beach but they “Hate the beach and hate swimming”
I don’t know my way around here very well but I am bored.

Is it safe to be in a tent during a thunderstorm?
Posted by: | CommentsSo my friend is camping in Wisconsin and the storms are really bad in his area (there’s lots of lightning really close to where he is). I’m wondering if it is safe for him to be in a tent during a storm? Does he have a high risk of being struck by lightning? I read that you’re supposed to keep your feet close together and crouch on the floor of the tent, but what if the floor is wet?
Please answer. I always get bored during camping. What should I bring?
Posted by: | CommentsWhat should I bring camping? I AM A KID! PLEASE DON’T SAY “First aid, matress, tent, matches. I MEAN FOR ENTERTAINMENT. I just wanted to make that clear. Please tell me what I can bring for entertainment while tent camping!!!

Astronomers study Kuiper Belt object during stellar occultation
Until now, astronomers have used telescopes to find Kuiper Belt objects (KBOs), moon-sized bodies, and obtain their spectra to determine what types of ices are on their surface. They have also used thermal-imaging techniques to get a rough idea of the size of KBOs, but other details have been difficult to glean. While astronomers think there are about 70,000 KBOs that are larger than 100 …
