4 adults taking 10 kids ages 3-10 camping in interlochen, near traverse city. Looking for activities for all ages. Thanks!
We live in michigan, so I’m looking for local secrets, stuff people do who live there I guess. We’ve done the dunes, the bridge and the lodge. Festivals? Unique shops? Kids museums? Concerts? Plays? Less visited land marks? Thanks!

My boyfriend is graduating from army boot camp in under 3 weeks, after that he will be in Missouri for AIT training. My friend is an Army Lieutenant and he said that he can give a good word to the ppl in Missouri and that my bf can possibly get some perks/liberties as a result…..is this true?!
thanks for all the answers!
Maj. Wilson–Yup, I would love to tell you my lieutenant friend’s name/info via email. (i don’t wanna disclose his name publicly on Yahooanswers). also, I see in your profile that you do MMA..thats awesome, cuz my bf is very interested in taking future MMA classes (he has no prior experience, however). i think his childhood dream is to be a UFC fighter! but if you want, you can email me at: chuckara2000@yahoo.com. thanks :-)

Fishing Cape Canaveral during a launch?

Posted by: | Comments (4)

I was thinking about going out there and doing some fishing and then realized there’s a launch tonight. It’d be cool to fish and catch the launch but I’m not really down with the giant crowds I hear go out there for those things. The place I plan on fishing is actually a little beach over a bridge on the way into the park(if any of you know what the heck I’m talking about) and there’s a little island in the middle of the water with a draw bridge in the distance.

Anyway, it seems like it would be a good place for people not wanting to go all the way into the park to hang back and congregate to watch the launch.

1. Do you know where I’m talking about?
2. Will it be ridiculously crowded?
3. Is fishing there pointless because of the crowds?
4. Do you have any other shore fishing ideas(salt or fresh) to still have a decent view of the launch?
I guess the place I’m thinking of is over Max Brewer Memorial Parkway by the boat ramp and pier.

I want to leave it up instead of closing it down during the winter. It is just outside the house and we see it everyday and check on it if necessary.
