Archive for Harry

My friend and I are planning to camp out for the Harry Potter 7 premiere in Washington state. We’d like to know firstly if it’s actually legal and we’re allowed to do that, and also any extra details regarding it. What should we bring, know, and look out for?
Please, if you’re an Internet “troll,” don’t comment. We don’t care if you think Harry Potter is stupid or lame or gay. We just want to be prepared to camp out. We already are getting the tickets waaaay ahead of time. Where we live, people come really early to get first in line for any premiere, let alone the last Harry Potter movie. If you want a good seat, you have to come before everyone gets there, which is around the middle of the day. The theater doesn’t let you in for premieres until about a half hour before it starts, and the theater is huge. The lines get extremely long. We want to get great seats, as we’re big Potter fans, so we’ve decided to camp out, which is actually what a few groups of people did last year. We’d just like to know what we should look out for and do!
Thank you so much for commenting and any ideas or info is greatly appreciated!

Harry Potter Exhibition in NYC: worth it?

Posted by: | Comments (2)

Hi!

I was just in NYC last weekend dropping my sister off at camp, and saw the HP exhibition is in NYC, and it’s the final north American stop. I am going back to NYC in 2 weeks to get my sister, and want to see the exhibit. But, it is a little bit out of my price range and you can’t take pictures in the exhibit. I am also on a time limit, no more than 3 to 4 hours to spend in the exhibit. Is it worth going to see, for the money?

I am traveling from Massachusetts, and will be there for one day. Thank you!!!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 Blu-ray Review I’ve loved every Harry Potter film. While the first two chapters lumber about quite a bit, they’re still thoroughly enjoyable introductions to the series, and faithful adaptations that set the tone for the rest of the franchise. But Potter got a lot more interesting when Warner started experimenting… Read more on IGN Blu-ray
