How to keep lake lot water from stagnating?
Posted by: | CommentsI have a travel trailer on a lake lot here in the midwest. It has a 25 gallon water tank on it and I was told that the water in the tank will stagnate if left there all summer. We dont use the water for drinking. The water is mainly used for flushing the toilet and the very infrequent hand washing. Is there a natural chemical that can be added to keep the water from going bad? Thanks

Why is it my camper van starts but will not keep running unless I press the gas pedal?
Posted by: | CommentsI have a 1979 Dodge camper van, it has a carburetor. I had problems starting it because of the old battery, so I recently changed the battery and now it starts amazingly fast, but once started if I let go the gas it stops. Actually that’s normal, it used to take about a minute of giving it fuel, then it would idle fine, but now I do this for over 5 minutes and once I let go the pedal, it takes 5 seconds and it stops. As if the motor won’t take any gas on it’s own.
Any idea what is causing the problem?
How to keep bandages/skin graft dry while camping?
Posted by: | CommentsI just got a splint off that I’ve had on for four weeks and have a camping trip coming up that involves a bit of hiking and outdoor activity. I was wondering how I might be able to keep the small bandages that are wrapped around my wound (on my right hand, between the middle and ring finger on the finger webbing) dry and clean for one night of camping and running around the woods without losing too much mobility from my other fingers? Thanks

The Missouri River has stopped rising in the Kansas City area, the the Army Corps of Engineers says, and should drop slightly in coming days. It was unclear whether water would continue to rise in Missouri City, which is downstream, before dropping. Area river levels are expected to remain high for weeks, however.
