My husband and I have been separated for 18 months. In 6 more months (according to the state that I reside in) I can file for a complete divorce. I drive by the place he resided at about once per month since I moved out. When I drove by in December he was still living there (car parked outside furniture on patio, drapes in windows etc.) Now since January I have been driving by and now there aren’t any drapes, patio furniture or his car there. In fact I can see straight inside from the parking lot and the place is totally empty. I can’t serve him papers unless I find him … I don’t know where he works and we have no mutual friends. What do I do? Even if I could find his phone # (I doubt he has one) he wouldn’t tell me his address anyway so that I can serve him with papers! I don’t want to get a lawyer involved b/c I don’t have that kind of money.
We do not have children or own a house.
