Minneapolis theater camps?

Posted by: | Comments (1)

I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota and I’m looking for a theater camp during the summer that puts on a production. I’ve looked at Stages Theater, Children’s Theater, Guthrie Theater. I just want something in the summer that I can do in addition to my part time job. I’m 14 so I’m not going to be working a whole bunch. So I need to find a theater that’s not for acting pros, not for beginners, but for someone in between. Also it can’t be one of those things that are like a week long.

My husband, 3 year old and I will be driving across the US. Starting in NC, visiting in Minnesota, and continuing on to our new home in Eureka, California. I have never been to the western part of the country and am looking for advice as to the absolute best things that must be seen between Minn. and Eureka. We will probably be camping since we won’t be leaving until this summer. We plan on taking approx. a month for the entire trip. Any ideas?

A bunch of friends and I want to go camping. We don’t have a ton of money to be wasting on gas. We actually live in Red Wing but, it’s easier to say Minneapolis. We don’t mind backpacking in. We just want to go and hang out without getting yelled at for being noisy. Very few other campers if possible. Thank you!!! -Libby
