Why are camp jobs allowed to pay under minimum wage? Is that money taxed?
Posted by: | CommentsI am being offered $1,800 to work as Group Leader at a camp for 8 weeks from 8:30am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Minimum wage in New York is $7.15. Which would mean for this amount of time my pay should be over $2,000. Why are camps allowed to pay so low? After i got the 1,800 would it still be taxed?
Does this sound like a fair deal to you?

Ways to raise money for summer camp?
Posted by: | CommentsI`m going to a summer camp in Colorado (Young life) in early June and It cost around 450 dollars which my family doesn’t just have laying around..SO I need some help finding good reasonable fund raising ideas for a 14yr old girl. I cant get a job!
I no I can babysit and walk dogs but I live in Illinois.and it is freezing out right now..haha soo yea!

Harold Camping should pay all off his followers their money back.?

Harold Camping is a liar and an extortionist, he stole all of this money from people. He should give it all back, to his followers, like the guy from New York who dumped his life savings (140,000 dollars). Its really terrible what he’s done.
What do you guys think?
Preferably I would not like to spend more then 1500 a month on payments and Im wondering if theirs like a rent to own thing i could do..down payments are not a problem

SOCAPA photography camp, worth the money?

JOB!?! 16 girl in PA need money for an archeology camp in Colorado?
Posted by: | CommentsI want to go to an archeology camp in Colorado this summer. there are two different camps options one that is one week and one that is three weeks. the three week one cost more money then i could get by April or may so i am forced to go to the one week program
anyway i need a job fast i am 16 year old girl in Chester County Pennsylvania. need money fast..i added up all the totals and need around $2200 for gear, transportation, and admission. i want to go to this camp to see if i want to pursue a career in this field. any advise as to what line of work or where to work would be deeply deeply appreciated
