Unfortunately, due my decision to join the Marine Corps at 18 and then taking a job in the city of Colorado Springs, Colorado after getting out, I am a 28 y/o guy who doesn’t have ANY dating experience whatsoever. I wasn’t stationed in California while in the Marines and was instead stationed on the east coast at Camp Lejeune, NC in eastern NC. Jacksonville, NC is a town filled with nothing but Marine wives and a s*itload of SINGLE MALE Marines. Furthermore, Marines are hated in towns surrounding the base such as in the eastern North Carolina towns of Greenville and Wilmington, NC. Anyway, long story short I made the mistake of taking a manufacturing job in the city of Colorado Springs, Colorado and got laid off when the place closed down. I am currently 28 years old, have been attending the community college here, and have been ABLE to make ZERO friends here because people in the city of Colorado Springs are the most backwards, anti-social, unfriendly, and stuck up people that I’ve EVER lived around in my entire life. No one wants to be socialable and friendly here. Since I was born and raised in eastern TN and western NC, it is my nature to be socialable and friendly, but these so-called human beings don’t have a clue about what it means to be a friendly, socialable, and down to earth human being. Seriously folks, when I am at school everyone is in such a hurry to get to class and get then everyone proceeds to leave as quickly as possible. More specifically, no one is interested in getting to know new people and/or make friends with anyone that they don’t already know from high school. Please believe me when I say that it IS NOT like this back home in the South. I would probably have 2 or 3 good friends by now AND would probably at the very least have a steady g/f by now if I were living back home in the south right now. I am going to try my best to get accepted to either the University of Texas, Texas A&M, or the University of Tennessee so that I can get the hell away from these backwards and anti-social people. So, in your opinion, do you think that it will be too late for me to start dating once I am able to get the hell out of here and move back home to the southern United States? Just so you know, I DO NOT take a negative attitude towards people while at school and I do TRY to be friendly to these people. The problem is the fact that THEY simply DO NOT know how to be friendly and socialable in return.

Landlord Requests Furniture to be Moved to Make Repairs?
Posted by: | CommentsOur landlord is requesting access to our apartment to “upgrade the electrical subpanel.” We live in California, where there is a 24 hour notice to enter, which they have complied with. As part of the notice, they have requested that we move furniture and other things that may block access to the work area. One of the areas they have requested access to is the storage closet on our patio, which is filled to the brim. The request is also asking for access to an area that would require moving a TV stand and A LOT of A/V equipment. My question is what is our requirement in order to legally fulfill our end of the lease. It seems pretty unreasonable to request the movement of all this furniture and belongings. Moving the A/V equipment will require a minimum two hour commitment, by my estimation. Also, where are we to put all the stuff from the storage closet for two days while the work is scheduled to be done?
CAN POP UP BE SET UP ON BLOCKS FOR PERMANENT LOCATION. TIRES OFF SO CAN’T BE MOVED?
Posted by: | CommentsWant to set up a pop up camper at land in N Carolina and leave it there in a semi-permanent location. Would leave it closed and just open it when we are there. Plan to take off the tires so it can’t be taken away. Thought of putting it up on cement blocks but am not sure how to protect the wheels and axel from damage if we do that. Anyone else tried this or have any ideas?
they say im in direct violation of the rules.no rv’s on the property.to me its just a van used for dailey transportation. so how are convertion vanz classified ??
I moved a yellow jacket’s nest and……?
Posted by: | CommentsSo we had a nest of yellow jackets decide to take up shop in our pop-up camper. Well after my husband got stung twice and dog once we moved the camper about 100 feet into our other driveway. Now the problem is the little stinkers are still swarming where their nest was, buy our front door. My question is will they find the nest eventually? Is there anything I can do to get rid of the remaining yellow jackets that are hanging out around our front door? Thanks!!
extension cord. They run a 20amp airconditioner and full electrical from an outside outlet on our mobile home. Our light bill was over 300 dollars and they constantly ran into trouble with their A/C not running up to par.. meaning barely cooling their fifth wheel, and their power shutting off all the time. We just bought this house a month ago, and fear that it is their camper trailer that is draining our lights… but also, my BIGGEST QUESTION FOR YOU TO ANSWER IS, is this a major fire hazard for their camper and ours? What can we do to remedy this hazard etc… if they want to stay indefinetly? Thanks for your expertise.
