I bought a school bus and I want to convert it into an RV. The DMV says they will inspect it to determine whether or not they think its an RV. Nobody at the DMV seemed to know what sort of things needed to be done to have it be considered an RV, all they said was “putting chairs and a table doesn’t count.” Any guidelines?

CANCUN, Mexico – Drug cartels are increasingly recruiting common criminals and quickly converting them into killers, the head of Mexico’s federal police said Wednesday.

Public Safety Secretary Genaro Garcia Luna said new drug cartel recruits can reach the position of hit man in a month, a process that used to take 15 years.

Garcia Luna said his agency has began combatting common crime as it fights drug cartels in response to the changing nature of organized crime in Mexico.

“For too long the fight against organized crime has been concentrated on the leadership and now it’s important to fight crime at every stage,” Garcia Luna told representatives from more than 100 countries attending the annual International Conference for Drug Control.

The drug cartels are recruiting low-level lawbreakers such as street drug dealers and robbers, a tactic first used by the brutal Zetas drug gang and now being copied by other cartels.

The Zetas, originally ex-soldiers acting as hit men for Mexico’s Gulf drug cartel before breaking off on their own, have no geographic concentration like other cartels and therefore have shown up in disparate parts of the country, authorities said. They operate almost like franchises, sending one member to an area they want to control to recruit local criminals.

Officials at the drug control conference say the Zetas have now spread their reign of terror from the border with the United States to the border with Guatemala — and across it.

Guatemala Security Vice Minister Mario Castaneda said the Zetas are recruiting former elite Guatemalan soldiers and training them in camps in the Central American country.

At least six former “kaibiles” — Guatemalan soldiers trained in counterinsurgency — linked to the Zetas have been arrested in Guatemala, Castaneda said.

Mexico first warned in 2005 that the Zetas were recruiting “kaibiles.”

Guatemalan authorities are also investigating military personnel for allegedly stealing weapons from the army and selling them to drug traffickers, Castaneda said.

“We have documented at least three robberies” of army weapons, he said.

In 2009, Guatemalan police seized 563 grenades and more than 3,800 bullets from the Zetas that investigators said belonged to the army.

I was in a fishing shop in near the Canadian border in 1000 islands, I saw a poster that caught my attention. It warned fishermen of a fish that apparently was bad for the ecosystem, it survived better than most fish and killed off plants and that wasn’t naturally there and if caught it should be “killed, and reported to your park’s main office, DO NOT throw the fish back in the water”. This fish was really ugly and had a weird head

It seems to me Obama must win this state because:

A. Reverend Wright’s big(ot)gest hits tour has put so much renewed pressure on Obama’s campaign.

B. Obama must disprove the emerging perception among the media and his detractors after Ohio and Pennsylvania that he cannot win enough white, working class voters to win rust belt states.

C. Obama needs a two state sweep on May 6 to put an end to Clinton’s renewed momentum in the race.

The reasons Clinton must win are obvious: Obama’s lead (particularly in delegates) is such that she cannot afford to lose many more states – But, to her credit; Her campaign has been on the verge of elimination all month and has continually held on with her back against the wall.

It also appears the popular vote should shake out VERY close in this thing; And Indiana could prove the decisive margin. It also puts enormous pressure on both campaigns that Obama himself called it a “tie-breaker” and James Carville (Clinton camp) a “must win”…

We will be doing a lot of hiking- probably the Heaphy Track in NZ. Looking for other activities not to miss. Zorbing looks cool. And the Golf Cross in Rotorua. In Australia we’ll go to the Great Barrier Reef, Sydney, etc. What else is not to miss? Also, thinking of renting a camper van. Has anyone had experience with this? We want to go cheap for a majority of the trip, but also spend some nights in nice resorts. Any info is appreciated!
…thanks James! what should we do in Melbourne?
also…is the Australia Zoo worth the trip?
Jemma, can I email you???

A few months ago we moved to Austin TX, after many years we lived in Mexico, my dad still pass half of the time in Monterrey for business reasons, so when we just get here i start a soccer camp, then the trainer get really close to mi family because my little sister plays soccer too and he´s also catholic, so we trust him.
My mom called him for domestic issues that he helped to work it out, the they become friends, but i start to get suspicious about her behavior, when my dad wasn´t home she dressed sexier than when he was here. More than oance i saw them flirt. I told her, she told me i was just imagine things.
She´s about to start a flower´s shop, so she rented a little warehouse, last thuesday i installed the internet, and also hide a seccurity cam, connected to a dvr.
I checked the tape and i saw them having sex, he was such a pervert, was very rude to her, and even in that kind of treat she do whatever he ask for. Watching that was very unpleasent.
I felt very sad for my dad because he dosen´t deserve that, he loves her and i thought she loves him back. I want to show him the tape, but i don´t want to hurt him, what should i do??
