Are Dog Licenses NEEDED?

Posted by: | Comments (5)

I live in Pennsylvania, and I have a Rottweiler as most of you already know. I was wondering if I NEED a dog license, in case we ever leave her in the kennel while we go on vacation, or anything like that. When we go camping, we will take her always, but when we go to Baltimore, to stay in a hotel, she cannot come. So in PA, are Dog licenses absolutely NEEDED?

We’re making a movie and will drive the 5-man (actually, four men, one woman) crew to Hotlanta for the shoot. We’d like to know from any expert RV’ers out there in TV Land about how much we’d need to spend in gasoline from here to there (about a three-or-four-day trip in probably a rented RV from CruiseAmerica or some other RV rental place). And the size of the RV would be a pretty big one, I guess, if we’re taking five peeps with us.

Oh, by the way, it would be about 6-8 days driving both ways, total.

lugwrench.biz is where to go to buy one of my new torque multiplier lug wrenches for your truck. If you’ve ever had trouble removing stubborn and overtightened lug nuts from your big truck with regular hand wrenches, you will be amazed. It works exactly as show in this video. With a ratio of almost 60 it will easily multiply the input power on the crank side into over 2000 ft-lbs of power on the socket side. Maximum capacity is about 3500 ft-lbs of torque..! Most 1″ drive air impacts cannot make this much power. I have yet to find a lug nut on a truck that this tool cannot easily remove. A 10 year old kid can remove lug nuts with this tool that a strong man couldn’t budge with a hand lug wrench. Why spend about $1500.00 on a impact, a 2-stage air compressor big enough to run it, air hoses, regulator, and sockets when this tool will do the job just as well? Even better, you can take this anyplace you go. Your big impact and compressor will sure do you a lot of good back at your garage when you’re out on the road someplace with tire problems, right? Just put this torque multiplier in your truck, and have it ready when you need it the most. Since you’re gonna need some sockets, I’ve included 4 of the most commonly used 1″ drive impact sockets on big trucks, RVs, motorhomes, buses, and semis. You get a 21mm (13/16″) 4-pt socket for your rear duals, 33mm (1-5/16), 38mm (1-1/2″), and a 41mm (1-5/8″) socket included with your new tool. That’s about $50 — $60 bucks worth of

help needed to save a animal shelter?

Posted by: | Comments (1)

Alright so I am in 9th grade, and a local human society close to me is closing, The Minnesota Valley Humane Society in (of course) land of 10,000 lakes; Minnesota.
Its closing because of a budget cut and it just doesnt have enough money to keep going; with the recession going on more and more people are making the difficult decision …. feed the family or feed their pet dog, and the answer is almost always to feed the family so out goes the dog! The donations that used to be given to the humane society have almost completely gone away also because people just dont have the money. Operating continuously since 1981, MVHS has been a leader in caring for homeless animals and placing them with loving families. Over the course of its existence the shelter has had one of the highest adoption rates in the nation, placing over 50,000 animals over the course of the last 19 years, including 1,927 animal adoptions in 2009, and over 1,500 since January of this year. In addition to rescue and placement services, they also provided a variety of education and outreach services, including dog and owner training; a pet visitation program to area schools, nursing homes and care centers; and summer camps for elementary and middle school children.

Now that you know some info about the shelter, I would like to tell you what i need help on…
I NEED TO RAISE 1.5 MILLION DOLLARS to get the shelter back and running. 1.5 million dollars may seem like a lot, but when it comes to all those innocent animals who will be cast out to the streets with the loss of this amazing home… its worth it

—-> I am posting this today because honestly I need help, this needs to become more than just a school project, because I honestly feel the need to save this shelter…
If anybody would PLEASE donate to the shelter
here is the website;

http://www.mvhspets.org/

but the reason I am posting today is because I need some ideas on how to fundraise, or get donations to raise the 1.5 million..
what businesses should I contact?
How much is reasonable to ask for?
….

please:)

What type of solar panel is needed to power a 5w/2amp camera?

The camera will always be on, it will use a maximum of 5w, but usually less than that. The solar panel will be charging a 9300mah battery which the camera is connected to. Do I need a high capacity battery? I live in southern CA.
Ok, I was incorrect about it using 2amp

It uses a maximum of 5 watts, the power plug that connects to it is 5w/2amp, which supports up to 10w.

I’m trying to figure out required solar panel devices to run a set of computer.
For example, 45 watt power supply computer with 65 watt laptop and 70 watt lcd monitor.

Second question is..
Let’s say I purchased 45 watt solar panel set. Can I use just powerful power converter to use all? or do I need more solar panels to juice power?

I want to be a Park Ranger. What schooling do I need to accomplish this. I want a Bachelor’s degree. I’m not sure in what though. I see Wildlife and Fish Conservation and Management but is that what I would need or something else?

Ford Excursion info needed?

Posted by: | Comments (2)

We thinking about buying a used Ford Excursion, but would like to know what others think of the SUV. What kind of gas mileage does it get? What size tires does it use? Have any recalls been issued for the Excursions? Do all of them have electric-folding rear seats? Has anyone towed a travel trailer with an Excursion? How did it handle?
