I used to go target shooting (plinking) at browns camp but since they shut that down we are looking for a good safe and legal place to shoot – not a shooting range though, a place out in the woods not to far from the road.
are there any where you can camp with a tent right on the beach?

Where is a nice place to live in North Carolina?
Posted by: | CommentsI just moved to NC and I am looking for a nice mix of mountains and lakes, if not the ocean for hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, etc. However, I still want to be close enough to a city to be able to go once in a while. I don’t want to be completely out in the sticks. I currently am renting a place in South Charlotte, which is DEFINITELY not for me. I was looking at the Lake Norman area, but it seems very built up there as well. I also went to Ashville, which was nice, but not really my scene. Any suggestions?
Best family campsite in North Texas? Anyone have any tips?

Can anyone help with travel information in North America?
Posted by: | CommentsI am due to go to the States this summer (From the UK) with Camp America. After Camp (Which is in Pennsylvania) I plan to do some travelling. I finish camp on the 19th of August and will have around 3 weeks until I fly back home from New York. I would like to go to Vegas and San Francisco, then return to the east coast to see the usual places around there. A Few questions!
1) What is the best/Cheapest way to get around in the U.S
2) Is it realistic to think I will be able to Get to Vegas and San Fran and back to the east coast etc, in 3 weeks? (While allowing enough time to have a good look around?)
3) Are there cheap sort of backpacker style hostels in Big U.S Cities?
