im not the smartest person in the world, and my friend mentioned boarding school. but i thought it was for really smart people. so
question 1: are boarding schools ONLY for smart people?
question 2:are there any boarding schools that are in, or near oklahoma?
questing 3: this may sound dumb, but are there any boarding schools that’s like the one in Looking For Alaska?
before you answer number 3 and say “that is stupid, its not a real boarding school. its just make believe” and all that crap, im looking for a big school, with open area, possably a smoking hole (dont ask why) and thats coed. so pretty much like the camp described in the book.
thanks :)
im looking for a big school, with open area, possably a smoking hole (dont ask why) , prefferably has a lake or something and the classes dont last all day, so there is time for studying, homework, and free time to hangout with friends. also want it to be coed. so pretty much like the camp described in the book(without the evil swan ;D)

THANKS:)

Just curious if I, as someone from the the southeast, TN specifically, would be accepted by women in Oklahoma City or Norman, OK? I have been living in Colorado Springs, Colorado for a few years now and haven’t been able to date because there is ZERO dating scene here. This is because this town is a military town with five bases. Not only that, but I didn’t get to date between the formative years of 18 and 23 because I made the mistake of joining the Marine Corps and subsequently was stationed in a town with ZERO single women (that being Jacksonville, NC / Camp Lejeune). The women in the surrounding cities and towns were also not an option because Marines have a very bad rep in eastern NC unfortunately. I find it very embarrasing that I am in my late 20s and have never gotten to date anyone and desperately want to fix this. After getting laid off from my job here, I started attending the local two year community college and am wanting to transfer to OU or somewhere back in the southeast. Do you think that, as someone from TN, that I would be better accepted by women in Oklahoma versus here in Colorado? BTW, I did try online dating with women up in Denver, but kept getting rejected so I just gave up after my subscription ran out.

Things to do in Oklahoma?!!!?

Posted by: | Comments (2)

My bf is taking me to a to a tiny town in Oklahoma to visit his family. I’ve been there once for 2 weeks and we did nothing well because he was busy dealing with his x wife, and also cause there was nothing to do as far as I could tell. All I saw was fields of cows and barns!!

The town we are going to is Braman. he grew up there. He keeps telling me that this time will be better cause we’ll go out and do stuff, but he never says what.. So I have a feeling there’s nothing out there.

The last time I was there, his mom took me to a mall that had about 5 stores and 3 eating places, that was her idea of a mall!!!

I am from the big city and have always lived the city life. (born in Ft Lauderdale,FL.. San Diego,ca,and Atlanta,ga).. So when I visit places I want to do the tourist stuff.. I’m not into the redneck type stuff like fishing, hunting, antique stores, off roading,4 wheelers, camping, hiking, etc. We will be there a week and I’d like to enjoy it this time!!!

So.. Anything to do anywhere in Oklahoma?? Ive been to the memorial in Oklahoma City. Also, braman is a little drive from Wichita Kansas.. Anything to do there??
Thanks!!!

Any acting classes in Oklahoma City?

Posted by: | Comments (1)

My friend and I want to take acting classes to help build our acting skills, but we live in OKC and can’t really seem to find any good ones. Only in Oklahoma City or Midwest City, Ok though, not Edmond or Yukon or anything.
Or any acting day camps or classes? Maybe even with art classes involved?
This summer is when we wanna start.
Thanks for your help!

Anywhere between Oklahoma City and Chattanooga? I love Chilhowee in TN. It is great tent camping 7 miles off the main road and no city lights. I’m looking to go camping with some friends. We will be driving in from different areas of the country. Not looking for back country camping, just something far off the road and away from town.

Thanks!

Oklahoma knife laws…?

Posted by: | Comments (1)

I’m going camping in Oklahoma this weekend and I live in Texas.
I carry my Buck 395 folding knife everyday in Texas, it’s a legal knife which is under 5 inches overall and has a 3 inch handle.
I want to know if I can carry that same knife in Oklahoma this weekend without getting in trouble.
I know fixed blades and illegal and spring assisted or switchblades are too.
All I need to know is the restrictions on folding knives, I have smaller blades, I just need to know if I can carry my Buck.
