Re post; going away without parents?
Posted by: | Commentsokay, no one understood my other Q, and actually, neither did i.
basically my adult cousin is going to take me to new hampshire, to help her take care of the kids. and her sister in law is taking her 17+13 y/o boys. i only met my cousin and the two kids. not the boys, or sister in law.
what all do i need, as i live in canada, and my parents arent going.
my parents know they have to write a note giving their permission, and my passport. would that be all to get across the boarder? and what are basic things i need to pack, cause im going away 3 times this summer, PEI, New Hampshire, and camp.

Emily’s Post: The inevitable, unnecessary security crackdown at the Capitol
Yesterday proved to be quite the sea change in terms of the tenor of events at the Capitol. After just over two weeks of peaceful protests against Gov. Walker’s budget “repair” bill and nothing but praise from Capitol and Madison Police toward the demonstrators, orders from on high came down and put the building into lock-down.

How do we get a home in Camp Smith, Hawaii ON POST?
Posted by: | CommentsI have researched and can only find info for the surrounding areas but don’t they have ON POST HOUSING? We are PCSing in a few months and I have no idea where to begin. Please help.
Seems like the Obama camp is reintroducting race into the campaign. How can he have it both ways. Way one) typical white grandmother raised him in Kansa (although we know it was a privite school first in Indonesia nd later in Hawaii) way two) Barak the commnity organizer from the gheto who understands the poor and downtrodden.
Surprisingly the answers to the question so far have been rather civil. Only called racist three times by the Obama people for asking a factual question based on today’s news. And as you notice the McCain supporters have been rather muted. It is so clear that Obama and his crowd have set race relations such as they are in this country back forty or more years. We are in for some rough times just ahead. Hard to believe that Obama with his limited ability and experience and questionable loyalty has gotten this far and continues to play the race card rather well.
Why the big deal about the New York Post cartoon?
Posted by: | CommentsA cartoon in which two police officers shoot a chimp has the usual professional victims coming out from under their rocks.
One of the officers remarks about someone else having to be found to write a stimulus bill as they shoot the chimp.
Al Sharpton & a handful of other irrelevant characters are now protesting the cartoon claiming…but what else, RACISM.
The cartoon is clearly a parody of the recent chimp attack in Connecticut. It was a cartoonists commentary on what HE thought of the current stimulus bill.
Sharpton & company have once again managed to spotlight themselves using their usual race card – claiming the chimp is supposed to symbolize Obama.
The only ones relating Obama to the chimp are Shaptons camp.
Do you think they have a valid complaint or are they desperately reaching for one?
Do you understand the cartoon or do you somehow link the chimp to Obama?
That’s the thing thought – they DIDN”T compare the chimp to Obama.
It was making fun of what the cartoonist thought was a poorly drafted bill.
The only ones cannecting Obama to a chimp are the people b1tching about it.
