confused about boot camp process?

Posted by: | Comments (3)

so my boyfriend left october first for bootcamp and said he wouldnt be able to contact us for three weeks. but he has got to have 3 short phone calls home while he has been in reception…and got to mail two things home…one without his return adress and one with his return address. we got the one without his return address but we are still waiting for the one with his address he said it is mailed out. but with the weekend and holiday it is just late. since he just got to bootcamp on the ninth does that mean he the three weeks start now when we cant talk to him? or willl he still get our mail? and when will he be able to start calling on sundays. he is at fort benning georgia for infantry.

No, I don’t own a Goldwing or plan on getting one soon, so I won’t be towing anything with one, but I am curious as to what trailers they can tow (how heavy of a trailer). With that powerful 6 cylinder engine I wonder what is possible-
-I know lots of motorcycles often tow small, specialized cargo trailer, but say I want to tow something bigger like a small utility trailer, or a pop up camper, or the trailer shown here http://www.wintechracing.com/index.php?target=/trailers/index.php (scroll down to the picture with the Mini Cooper) could I do it?
-What sort of a trailer hitch would I need; do you know any manufacturers; how does it compensate for leaning into curves?
-Would the trailer need brakes?
-How practical is it to tow anything with a motorcycle?

we are a gay couple (thomas and joe) from tennessee we have been married for over 2 yrs now and would like to start a family. I know some people don’t agree with our lifestyle but we have alot of love to give a child. we do not fit the “typical” gay stereotypes. we dont party drink or do drugs and neither of us have ever been arrested or in trouble with the law. we have good jobs we work in the nuclear industry. we are very down to earth love animals, camping fishing hiking basically anything outdoors. we know the adoption process is going to be long and difficult but if there is any other gay or lesbian couples out there that have already gone through the adoption process we would appreciate any help or advice you could give us. we would also take advice or help from straight people that may have been involved with a gay adoption.
sorry about the typical gay comment about drinking and doing drugs that totally came out wrong and i didn’t want to offend anyone. all i am saying is gays get alot of negativity through t.v. and the news media, and it has been my experience that alot of gays are more interested in the club scene than actually settling down and starting a family. i know there are couples out there that are in love and are committed to each other. sorry again if my earlier comment seemed like i was saying all gays did drugs and drank alot all i meant to say is that we are a stable couple thats not into the partying scene.

I’m joining from overseas, and I haven’t spoken with a recruiter yet, but I’m hoping to join the US Navy – as a legal US resident.

What is the recruitment process involved when joining the US Navy as a rating?
How many tests are there, and how long does it take to start boot camp from initially signing up?

Thank you

Dr. Hansen elaborates on his course design process. This clip also includes a story he tells in class, another very important element in his teaching. What will I go through and in what order. Anything from tests I have to take, boot camp, training, anything that I’ll have to do and when I’ll do it.

Note: I will be attending Airborne School and Ranger School. Also include that.

We’re coming close to buying a used Class A Motorhome we like. It’s in Vermont, we live in New York. We’d be paying cash. What’s the process once it’s paid for? Drive the thing off the lot same day with the title in our hand and a temp tag from the RV dealer?

We’d be crossing from Vermont to New York State, where we’d park it until we had permanent tags. 150 miles or so from the deaerl to where we’d park.

I’m sure the dealer would tell us all about it if I called again to ask – but I’m trying to appear aloof. LOL

Can someone post links to some pictures of the solar power manufacturing process? Like a diagram of how they make the actual solar panels?
