The Cummins Onan Hybrid Quiet Diesel (HQD) system is not just a generator. Its not just an inverter. Its a revolutionary new RV electrical system that pulls power from the coach batteries to supplement the Power Unit (formerly called the generator) to meet peak demands. This allows the HQD to employ a smaller, lighter, quieter Power Unit. You get high-quality, pure sine-wave electricity from a power system that is 50% quieter and up to 20% more fuel-effi cient than a typical generator. Only the HQD combines a Power Unit, Inverter, Transfer Switch and coach batteries into one cohesive system that automatically and seamlessly powers your motor home effi ciently and effectively. Best of all, you never have to think about it. Just press auto and the HQD runs itself. It senses power loads and draws from the Power Unit and coach batteries as needed to keep your air conditioning and appliances running smoothly. The HQD can be programmed with campground quiet hours so you dont have to worry about turning off your generator or maintaining your battery charge level. Next time youre in the market for a motor home, tell your dealer you want the best value and performance in your electrical system. Tell them you want the Cummins Onan Hybrid Quiet Diesel system. If it rains…or we’re just sitting around camp – what are some fun things to bring with?

I’m a southern guy born and raised in Louisiana. Don’t get me wrong, I love the south. I’m just tired of the noise of these bigger cities. Personality wise I’m an ISTJ and borderline between type A and B (if I wasn’t to darn competitive I’d be a type B). I LOVE running especially trails, as well as swimming and biking (triathlete). I’ve always been a religious conservative but not the activist type. As far as weather goes I don’t really care I’ve seen +2 feet of snow (lived in Oklahoma for 3 years) and many a day over 100deg. I’m always looking for some new adventure or excitement. I’m a real sucker for the great outdoors (camping, backpacking, fishing, ect…). What are some places I would enjoy? I’ll be working in healthcare if that’s of any use.

Taking a road trip to northern California in early june and was deciding on camping in Big Sur for two nights. Have never camped here and looking at all the websites and reviews has me a bit overwhelmed. Does any one have any good experiences with a quiet secluded, and beautiful site? We will not be on the weekend, so i think they should be less crowded, but we definitely want a camping experience. Was looking at Limekiln state park but the website says its currently closed to the public! also thinking of Bottchers Gap… thoughts??

Good, quiet, camping in Colorado?

Posted by: admin | Comments (1)

Anyone know a good place to camp in Colorado (not too far from Denver) where there will be no one else. Just looking for a spot me and some friends can go, hang out, maybe shoot off a few rounds, build a fire, and not be bothered. Does such a place exist?

I mean they are in the infield and since i have never been either in the infield for a race or in a drivers motor home i was just wondering if you think they can get a good night sleep with all the activity around them. I am assuming there is a curfew of some type but i may be wrong.

I live in southeastern Wisconsin (metro Milwaukee area). I’m looking for a nice place to camp that’s quiet. I’m starting to find the state parks around here to be a waste of time. Tons of people who are noisy with screaming kids. Not really my scene. I went over the weekend and people were even setting off fireworks in the state park (didn’t think that was legal), freaking my dogs out.

I am more into relaxing with a good book and a nice fire and heading out for a good hike in the woods. Where’s a good place to go?
