Can you drive an RV with a water bed instead of a regular bed?
Posted by: | CommentsI have a skin condition that only allows me to sleep on leather, silk or something without dustmites. I want to spend some money on an RV rather then living in Apts., but I need a waterbed. Currently I have to sleep on a leather couch because I don’t know exactly what I can do in an RV. So my question is can you place a waterbed inside an RV to sleep in rather then its usual bedding. Thanks!!

Can I use regular car washing soap on an RV?
Posted by: | CommentsI know an RV has fiberglass and a different type of clearcoat (gelcoat), but I don’t know if regular soap will leave streaking or not.
Can you take a small RV to a regular mechanic?
Posted by: | CommentsI’m going to buy a really old ’73 motorhome and was wondering if a regular mechanic could take care of it, or do I have to find an RV repair place? also, if it’s only like 28 ft. and not too big, can a regular tire jack work to change tires if one goes out? do some RV parks not allow old RV’s for aesthetic reasons? what are some free places to park, other than Wal-Mart, Rest Stops, friend’s property?

Can RV insurance be added onto your regular auto policy or do you have to get it separately?
RV antifreeze vs Regular glycol antifreeze, what’s the difference?
Posted by: | CommentsI am wondering what the difference is between RV antifreeze and regular glycol antifreeze. I have a outdoor woodboiler which is corrosion proofed with a boiler additive, but I need to use an antifreeze incase of the fire going out, power outage, etc. The boiler heats up to 180 deg and is an open system so there is no pressure to deal with.
On Peak’s website they say the RV antifreeze can be used to protect heating systems. So I am wondering if I can use it to provide freeze protection? The price difference between RV antifreeze $2-3/gal, regular glycol antifreeze $8-10/gal and Cryotec boiler antifreeze $12-14/gal.
Thanks for the help

Can I use a Marine / RV Charger on a regular car battery?
Posted by: | CommentsI just bought a used Everstart WM-51A-PE10 Amp charger. It says is a Boating/RV charger. fully automatic/Manual charger.output is 10Amps at 12Volts.
How is a Deep cycle charger different from a standard charger?
Can I use it to charge a regular car battery? Any recommendations on what to do?
I can not find a manual for the above charger closest I found is this one SF-51A-PE. anyone know the difference between the two chargers? Any one have a WM-51A-PE10 manual they would be willing to scan or compare to the SF-51A-PE models manual?
Is the WM-51A-PE10 Charger a good charger?
I looked around and did find people that said you could charge a deep cycle battery on a regular charger since the one charges to 12.?V but a deep cycle will charge to 14.?V . So will a deep cycle charger damage or over charge a regular battery? Or is it really the same charger just renamed? would the battery need to be manually removed prior to it indicating a full charge as not to damage battery?
is it going to overcharge to the 14. something volts or is that information I found incorrect?
Is it regular to bring a backpack to boot camp?
Posted by: | CommentsThe night before I leave for boot camp I’ll be staying at a hotel. Should I wear the same clothes for those last couple days, or change what do people regularly do.
