Posted by: | Comments
Aussie Swag Campers has a gas powered space heater on their list of options. The highly efficient, clean and safe Truma heater is small enough to fit into one half of a side bin but supplies 2400 watts of heating power to warm the inside of the camper. Gas consumption is 100 grams an hour on partial load and 200 g/h on full load. It is also 100% automatically operated thanks to the electric control unit.

Architect Alan Cohen’s dream house is efficient with space; he packs he packs 4000 square feet of multi-use building- office (1050 sq ft), home (1730 sq ft), art studio for his wife and garage- onto a 3750 square foot lot. It’s also very energy efficient; Cohen uses passive solar for heating and cooling his home, complete with industrial fans, venting windows, well-designed holes in the floor (between floors) for air flow and first floor concrete floors for thermal storage. How are Space Based Solar Power and Oil dependence realated?
Posted by: | Commentswhere can i live in a camper without having to pay for the space?
Posted by: | Commentslike where could i park the camper? i dont wanna park it in a rv park or trailer park cuz i gotta pay for the space. theres gotta be pieces of land where people park it illegally, any ideas?
So for a couple of months now my neighbors have had a large RV parked in a public grass area used for parking for a couple of families around it. The RV takes up the majority of this space and leave only room for two more cars and one of these spaces is taken up by their car. What can I do to finally get my neighbors to move their RV because asking them about it does nothing.

How long before this sort of thing about space isn’t ceremonial or a joke any more?

Will there eventually be a fence around the landing site? Guided tours with guides and souvenir stands?
Or even though we’ll get better at space travel, will it always be a little exotic, like when someone from urban California spends weekends doing wilderness camping in the Sierra mountains?
Although perhaps a better comparison would be the story I heard about how some of the base camps on the way up Everest are practically permanent little villages?
I figure in fifty years we’ll be at that stage on the moon, although it’s still up for dispute what language(s) the villagers will speak.
What do you think?
