so i’m looking for a place that has beautiful scenery, lots to do (canoeing, hiking, paddle boats, swimming etc.) and preferably a place that has nice water, and sandy beaches by some sort of water source (:

and within like 3 and a half hours from tulsa

Looking for the best fishing spots around the Homewood/Orland park area of Illinois. Also may go to Indiana in the Munster/Hammond/Whiting area. Right now I fish at Izaak walton in Homewood but its dead this year, and anyone around here knows nothing in Wampom bites becuase its so over fished. Any suggestions on new areas that don’t require a hour plus drive?

I am looking for a place that I can take my kids that is more secluded that also has some sort of water access for fishing or swimming I am located in Roswell and am looking for something in the mountains where it is a little cooler. I have a jeep so getting to most spots are not a problem. don’t really care if the spots you know of are 4-5 hrs away, I just want a nice place to go to get away from here for a few days. thanks for any ideas.

Camping spots in western Colorado?

Posted by: | Comments (2)

I’m getting ready to drive a loop around Colorado, camping along the way. Are there any decent camping spots near Grand Junction, CO? I’d prefer to keep out of RV parks, and stick to quieter setting. I’ll be accompanied by my girlfriend and dog. Any suggestions? In the vicinity of Grand Junction unless a better location is known. Thank you.

We will be going from Oregon to Missouri to see my granddaughter graduate frrom high school, then up to Michigan to see Chuck’s family. Having not made the deicision whether it is more economical to take the truck and camper, to take the car, or to fly and rent a car.
Camping is the most fun because we have our own beds. Any information from any of you would be appreciated.
