Where can I stop on the East Coast of Florida in my RV to see the Ocean?
Posted by: | CommentsI will be traveling to Florida from Illinois later this month in a RV and my kids would really like to stop at the ocean as soon as possible. I will be traveling on interstate 95 and it looks like I’ll be near the ocean from Fort Pierce down until our destination in miami. Guess I’m just looking for a truck stop, park or anything within walking range of the ocean capable of parking my 31′ RV. I appreciate any help, thanks.
8 of my girlfriends and I plan to have a road trip next summer (july 2012). We want to rent a van to drive from NY (manhattan) to florida (disney land in orlando) and back. We’d like a 10 day trip as we plan to make stop evers in beaches, parks, etc.. Any suggestion where to rent a van?
Also, we just want to stay in hotels/motels where ever the road takes us. Does anyone know a nice place to stop over? Tourists attractions? Beaches along the way? Camping sights? We are all girls so safety is a main concern.
Will there be check points? Most of us are tourists and we want to be ready with ID, etc..

HELP! I have staph so how do I stop the pain while helping it to heal?
Posted by: | CommentsAny doctors out there? I’m stranded in a forest in Missouri and the roads are out so I can’t get to a doctor. I have two bad cases of staph on my right side close to my underarm. One is small and the other, large with lot of swelling. I do have a clean tent, a bottle of alcohol, and two aspirin left. I don’t have much else but I do have some water as well as toothpaste, baking soda, salt, oranges, and soap… i do have camping supplies and some bandages… what do I do?
I tried but they told me to wait till morning when I can make it back because the roads are out and it’s not an “emergency.” I know, it sucks but I need to be realistic so what can I medically do with the items I have right now?
