Harold Camping should pay all off his followers their money back.?
Posted by: | CommentsSo many people poured their life savings into this end of the world gibberish, I know they were dumb for doing it, But Camping swore to them it was true. Here is how much money Camping has
“As the day drew nearer, followers reported that donations grew, allowing Family Radio to spend millions on more than 5,000 billboards and 20 RVs plastered with the doomsday message. In 2009, the nonprofit reported in IRS filings that it received $18.3 million in donations, and had assets of more than $104 million, including $34 million in stocks or other publicly traded securities.”
Harold Camping is a liar and an extortionist, he stole all of this money from people. He should give it all back, to his followers, like the guy from New York who dumped his life savings (140,000 dollars). Its really terrible what he’s done.

in a year round warm climate, like say if you live in canada…and have one, do your kids love it when you use it, i am think ing of buying one as i have 2 boys and would love to experience some road trips with them and my husband…

Posted by: | CommentsI recall reading about a man who had his followers commit mass suicide by drinking poison. So you think we’ll see some news headline like “Harold Camping takes his followers to heaven, he’s currently lodged in his cell”
(This is only a prediction, obviously we hope it doesn’t happen)
But seemingly that he has his followers convinced, there’s a real threat of bad things happening. . .what is you idea, in ALL seriousness. . .what do you think will happen on Sunday?

Do you think that couples should take vacations away from their children?
Posted by: | CommentsMe and my husband have been taking little trips away from the kids since they were born. When our eldest daughter turned two, we sent our eldest three children to my brothers house in WA for 2 weeks. My kids are extremely close to my brother, sil and their children. We went to the Bahamas in 2007, in 2008 an Alaskan Cruise, in 2009 to Montana, and 2010 to Chicago. This year were going to Yosemite National Park. We always bring back my youngest nephew and my niece to stay with us for 2 weeks. This is the time my brother & his wife usually take their vacation away from their kids. I think it’s fair, and the kids get to spend a lot of time with their cousins.
My husband and I truly enjoy the time we spend away from our children. Our vacations let us relax and have a lot of quality couple time. The kids are always busy with day camps, special trips with my brother & sil, fishing, camping etc. When my nephew & niece come here, they get to spend a lot of time at the beach, swimming, riding horses, going to art camp, the Zoo, Busch Gardens etc. I know they love spending time with me and my husband. We have a special bond with our nephew and niece. There are many other personal reasons that we take vacations away from the kids, but they are to many to write about.
Do you think that couples should take vacations away form their children? Please be polite, thank you.
Cloud Wanderer, We do take our kids on vacations with us. As a family we’ve been to the N.Y, South Carolina, Disneyland (Florida), Rocky Mountains (Skiing). I’m talking about parents having a vacation WITHOUT their children. And I disagree, it’s NOT selfish it’s marriage preservation.
