What are some fun things to do in Portland Oregon on Sunday?
Posted by: | CommentsI’m visiting my cousin in Portland and I leave for camp on Monday. What would be something fun to do that does not involve hanging out at the mall or going to a museum?
Things to do in Oklahoma?!!!?
Posted by: | CommentsMy bf is taking me to a to a tiny town in Oklahoma to visit his family. I’ve been there once for 2 weeks and we did nothing well because he was busy dealing with his x wife, and also cause there was nothing to do as far as I could tell. All I saw was fields of cows and barns!!
The town we are going to is Braman. he grew up there. He keeps telling me that this time will be better cause we’ll go out and do stuff, but he never says what.. So I have a feeling there’s nothing out there.
The last time I was there, his mom took me to a mall that had about 5 stores and 3 eating places, that was her idea of a mall!!!
I am from the big city and have always lived the city life. (born in Ft Lauderdale,FL.. San Diego,ca,and Atlanta,ga).. So when I visit places I want to do the tourist stuff.. I’m not into the redneck type stuff like fishing, hunting, antique stores, off roading,4 wheelers, camping, hiking, etc. We will be there a week and I’d like to enjoy it this time!!!
So.. Anything to do anywhere in Oklahoma?? Ive been to the memorial in Oklahoma City. Also, braman is a little drive from Wichita Kansas.. Anything to do there??
Thanks!!!

Things for Camping? No idea what to bring. Please help?
Posted by: | CommentsMy little sister (Age 11) is going camping for the first time. I’ve never been camping before so I have NO idea what to buy for her. She’s sleeping in a cabin not a tent so I know I don’t have to buy a tent. Can anyone give me some ideas on what to buy her?
what are some fun outdoor places to do things in alabama or Tennessee?
Posted by: | CommentsI want to do something outdoors and away from the city. I want to do exciting things. Ive been white water rafting in the ocoee and camping. I just got back from California where ive been cliff diving and mountain climbing and quite frankly im getting restless since i got back to alabama 3 days ago. Help?
Well, I’m moving to Washington State from Alabama this fall to start college pretty soon.
I already kinda know what to expect as it terms of weather
“well you have rain in the morning, and then some slight drizzle in the noon, oh and then more rain.”
haha, thats what I’ve been told.
I also know that it get brutally cold in WA. but i am originally from Salt Lake City, Utah and I visit my cousins every year in Canada so, needless to say, I am no stranger to the cold and I can deal just fine
I’ve also heard that Washington is more of a ‘blue’ state which is fine by me since I stray more on the liberal side but I consider myself more of the Independent party. So are people fairly friendly about politics here? Cause I know in some places here in the south, you’re either conservative or in a mental ward at the hospital haha!
Anyways, I really need advice on how to deal with culture shock, cause I’m sure it is inevitable.
I mean, I am positive that I can cope just fine seeing as Washington is so outdoorsy (which I really like cause I’m an outdoor person, I love hiking and extreme camping, etc) and Washington is known for its music scene, which, music is one of my most burning passions.
So, if any of you guys have advice as a jumping off point to adjust to the culture shock, that would be great!
Like any clothing tips that would help survive those devastating winters or to deal with lack of sunshine, how to blend in with the locals, the DOs and DONTs of living in WA. Anything would be great.
PS: I am specifically moving to Tacoma to live on Campus at my college.
Things to do in Texas?
Posted by: | CommentsMy family is looking for a little family excitement during a weekend in February. We’re looking for something near home (Dallas, Texas). Are there any ranches where you can ride horses and do fun activities? Even if it’s camping… We just want to get away for a little bit.
What things should I bring to horse camp for free time?
Posted by: | CommentsSo I’m leaving for an overnight, one week horse camp on Sunday. I’m getting really excited because I’m going with my friend, although it sounds like a beginner camp and I’m an intermediate rider. Sadly, you’re not allowed to bring your own horse or pony.
Anyway, I need fun things to do during our free time. Last year, the camp I went to (wasn’t horse camp but the same camp), had lots of free time. The first day I’ll be unpacking during that time, but what should I do the rest of the days?!
We’re not allowed to bring cell phones or iPods, though I like to have my cell phone (off, of course!) just in case of a serious emergency. Or food.
So, I’m bringing Horse-Opoly, a card game called Sleeping Queens, and a normal deck of cards. I was wondering if you had any other ideas of what to do during free time. Oh, by the way, I’m 14.
Thank you! ![]()
Well, I’m already bringing swimsuits, but we have assigned swim time for our group. I need things to do when we’re stuck in our “camp area”.
Fun things for teens to do during the summer in Florida?
Posted by: | CommentsI’m looking for things to do. Nothing TOO expensive, please. But I’d love some activities to do anywhere in Florida, like overnight summer camps, or anything you have in mind. ![]()
Don’t give stupid answers, like Wild Fire, please.
