Im a noob camper/fisher and so far i have two trips im planning, but im unsure of what time of year to plan them (early spring, mid summer, late fall, ect…). The first trip is to Lake Grapvine in North Texas, a few friends and i want to rent a boat and fish and possibly swim a little. The second trip is a camping trip to Turner Falls in Oklahoma, where we plan to stay 3 day 2 nights, and want to swim and hike, and maybe fish. We will be taking my friends 4 year old, so we dont want it to be to rainy or cold, but i dont really want to go when its real crouded and/or when there is gunna be a lot of drinking ( like the 4th of july).

When using RV generator to power house in emergency GFI trips in RV?
November 22, 2009 — adminI shut off main in house and all breakers. Then start (4.4 kw)generator and plug male to male wire from RV outside receptical to house outside receptical. When I turn 1 breaker on in the house, the RV inside GFI circuit trips….. BUT when I do the same with a portable generator (3kw) it works just fine for running lights and the fridge? WHAT IS WRONG?
