I’m tubing the river this weekend…is the water going to be deep enough?
Posted by: | CommentsMy friends and I have our annual tubing/camping trip planned for this weekend. They are paranoid that the river is not going to be deep enough (because it hasn’t rained in a while) in places and were going to have to walk down the river banks if the water gets too shallow.
Does anyone know where I could go to look up the river depth for my area (South Alabama, styx river, near Gulf Shores)
Thanks for your answers!

What is a good camping/inner tubing location in Southern California?
Posted by: | CommentsI am looking to go on an overnight camping trip somewhere in California. I want to go inner tubing down a river though, complete with beer cooler and everything. Where in Southern California(Big Bear down to the Border) can I go river inner tubing and camping at the same or close locations?
food to take/make while tubing and camping?!?
Posted by: | CommentsHey guys:)
A big group of us are going to Wisconsin this weekend for a day of tubing down the river and camping at night. I will not get to the camp site till Friday night, and then we are tubing all day saturday, and camping saturday night. I have no clue as of what food to bring…especially food to bring while floating down the river – since it might get wet. If you guys have easy ideas of stuff I can make and put in tupperware please let me know! Thanks:)
River Tubing & Camping in Michigan?
Posted by: | CommentsI’m looking for a campground in Michigan that offers tubing down a river. We really want a place that will take you to the river and picks you up when you’re finished. We just really don’t want to drive to a canoe/tubing place and then have to drive back to the campground. Or if there are any tubing places that have a shuttle that pick you up at a campground in the area. Thanks!
Probably within two hours away from detroit maybe a little farther
I am looking for a less expensive class C motorhome that is built with metal rather than a wood structure. Most older RV’s have had some water intrusion so I want to avoid costly structural repairs by avoiding purchasing any wood structured RV.
It can be a class A or C as long as it sleeps 6 or more.
Thank you!!
