Following Michelle Obama’s Spanish vacation renting all 60 rooms at a Luxury Spanish Villa with her youngest daughter & 40 of Michelle’s closest friends and before the whole family 10 day get away to Martha Vineyard in Massachusetts the advisers to Obama got him to squeeze in a 2 day weekend getaway in Panama City, Florida on the Gulf of Mexico just to counter the ELITIST IMAGE there many, many vacations to most luxurious spots the taxpayers money can get them to on Air Force 1 & 2.

I guess they needed a 2 day weekend getaway to help them rest up from all that luxurious vacationing they have been doing this summer.

In the past 18 months the Obama has taken 8 vacations – HOW MANY HAVE YOU TAKEN?

Oh, and those who want to attack Bush to try and defend the elitist vacationing of the Obama’s – Bush in 8 years took 77 trips home to his ranch in Crawford – and stayed in his 1,300 sq ft home and cut brush. Oh and the house was fully wired and connected to allow him to do everything he could do at the White House. The second place he spent most of his “vacation” time was at Camp David mostly on weekends and again Camp David the presidential getaway is wired up like the White House allowing him to do everything he needed to from there.

Congress left on vacation Aug 2001 and when George W. Bush decided to spend most of August at his ranch in Texas instead of the White House the Press had a conniption criticizing Bush. So far no such thing from the press even in light of the recession, gulf spill and Michelle’s Spanish luxury get away w/ 40 best friends.
