I am going on a road trip through BCN and camping along the way. I have been to the “touristy” places, Papas and Beer, La Boufadora but are there other sites, off the beaten path, that are worth a visit?

I live in the DC Metropolitan Area and she is going to be visiting me for a day. What should we do? I love museums and I want to show her everything I love about DC. And we are going to go out for lunch. I was thinking somewhere along Constitution Ave or Pennsylvania Ave (price doesn’t matter much). Can you please help me plan an itinerary? Thanks in advance!

Hello

Originally, I was going to take a camping trip to Oregon during early summer, before college started up again. My Dad took me on a roadtrip to Spokane, Washington at 8 and I fell in love with the scenery through this state.

After some consideration, I decided it would be fun to drive up to Forks to visit the twilight stuff.

My best friend might be going and she’s a big edward lover

(No verbal abuse please)
I don’t like edward at all and was wondering if anyone could suggest any more places of interest in Forks involving Jacob and his pack.
Was there was a place mentioned about his house in the book? I don’t remember. I sold all of mine to people who wanted them more.

Listed so far:

Washington, Forks
—————————
(Black)
Quileute Reservation
La push, First Beach

(Cullen)
Quillayute Prairie Cemetery (Baseball Meadow Adjacent to here)
Cullen house – wherever it is

Port Angeles
——————
Gottschalk’s (prom dresses)
Port Book and News (bookstore)
Bella Italia (come here for dinner)
Are you kidding me?
There’s a bella haunted mansion?
Thanks for the tips Kelsy :)

To be honest, I’m not going to Forks just for twilight. I saw pictures of it and love the fact that it’s sorrounded by forests and ocean and rain. Very green. Seems like a place of rest, nature, and peace. Feels like I’m closer to God in those kind of places.Guess it’s because I’ve always lived in Southern California – busy, big, crowded, and noisy.

Mount McKinley is high point of Denali Park visit We were halfway through the park when I spotted the grizzlies. “Bear, nine o’clock,” I yelled, grabbing my camera and extending the zoom lens to the limit. On the hill were a mother and her two cubs, thoughtfully browsing on blueberry bushes while contemplating the wonders of the universe. Nobody is ever allowed off the bus in Denali so the animals pay little attention to vehicles. The fact that … Read more on Canada.com
