We were fishing for Cats with cut shad. I was preparing to refresh my bait when my pole bent in half. I was able to bring this one to the surface and again found myself without a net. So I figured I would do a little product testing on the fish grips we use on catfish. Musky 1-Fish Grips 0

I planning on camping in the Keys for a couple of nights this Spring Break but would prefer to camp on an actual beach with a fire pit and what not. Are there any beaches that allow that and how much would it cost? Any references for camp grounds would also be very helpful!
Thanks!

Using a Maxx Air Flow fan 24″, the Orange one from The Home Depot $99 (EXCELLENT FANS) You can clean an area in a few nights breaking an uncontrolled population cycle. This option requires 250 watts of electricity but does not require any pesticides. The screens serve a dual purpose, they also collect dust and fine particulates and eventually form a mat of air junk. The screen provides an easy cleaning option and prevents dire from entering the bearings of the induction motor. The solar option uses a 27 watt blower fan and works great for pigeon and chicken coops, animal kennels and outdoor porches. Place the fans near infested or high traffic areas. KEEP FANS DRY, no rain. Always Unplug when servicing screens or moving. Place the inlet side towards people or animals so you suck the mosquitos away. This also sucks in carbon dioxide creating an attraction trail for the mosquitos to follow sticking them to the back of the fan:-) I have a few more options in the works: WATER COLLECTION NESTS By placing leaves and yard debris in the bottom of a container and filling it with water, the leaves decompose and provide an attractive spot for mosquitos to place their larvae. Once visible, you MUST collect the larvae with a fine fish net and dry them in the sun. This option prevent mosquitos from nesting in ditches and other areas where you cannot stop the cycle. YOU MUST clean daily or you create a mosquito farm. BATS: I have a DIY VIDEO on how to build a bat house and tips on

I am seriously contemplating taking a road trip from New Jersey somewhere out west with a friend of mine. The thing is, I don’t want to go out TOO far, no more than a 5-6 hour drive, so I am considering making our destination a state like West Virginia, Virginia, or Maryland. I don’t want to go north, only south or west.
What I really need suggestions on is how to get to see the real “raw America”. I don’t want big cities or anything urban. If anyone knows any specific spots to pass through that are reminiscent of tumbleweed America, even things like diners, taverns, or campgrounds, places that make you feel like you need a banjo.
And the last thing is, we don’t want anything to do with motels or anything of the sort, so if anyone knows of any places that it would be acceptable to just pitch a tent for the night, and then pack it up in the morning (without going too much out of the way to find a campground designated for CAMPING), suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

ANY SUGGESTIONS at all concerning this road trip will be very very VERY much appreciated.

Thank a bunch, guys!

Need help planning a road trip out west?

Posted by: | Comments (3)

So my boyfriend and I are thinking about taking a road trip from Wisconsin to the western USA at the end of August, and we need some advice on where to go. We’re both pretty energetic individuals that love camping and hiking, and we’re really interested in seeing the classic national park sights and geological features like the Grand Canyon, Old Faithful, or the Mesas. However, my conception of distances between some of these places is pretty poor and I’d like some help planing an itinerary from others who have actually been there before. Thanks.
