Soon after, he travelled more than 350 km to promote innovation and renewable energy across the UAE in the run up to the UAE National Day. Starting in Fujairah, his 11 day journey took him to schools, universities, police stations, and social centers for people with disabilities, reaching Abu Dhabi Corniche on December 2. He left a trail of inspiration across the way in a solar powered wheelchair invented by him. Haidar’s journey was inspired by Masdar, Abu Dhabi’s renewable energy initiative. This short film is our tribute to Haidar and his faith, determination and noble mission.
