Best Big Sur camping spot (quiet, nice views, secluded)?
ByTaking a road trip to northern California in early june and was deciding on camping in Big Sur for two nights. Have never camped here and looking at all the websites and reviews has me a bit overwhelmed. Does any one have any good experiences with a quiet secluded, and beautiful site? We will not be on the weekend, so i think they should be less crowded, but we definitely want a camping experience. Was looking at Limekiln state park but the website says its currently closed to the public! also thinking of Bottchers Gap… thoughts??

Maybe call the visitors center or the local park ranger office to get some help.

Best camping on Big Sur is Kirk Creek. Campsites are sitting above the ocean and beautiful. Shouldn’t be too busy during the week. Have a great time! It is awesome.
