Camping spots in/near Ocean City, Maryland? or Delaware? Close Beach access?
We are looking for camping spots in/near Ocean City, Maryland or in Delaware that are close to beach access (walking distance). We have camped several times at ASSATEAGUE STATE PARK and we really like how the beach is walking distance to your camping site, but we are interested in trying something different. Any suggestions/experiences? Thanks in advance!
Delaware Seashore State Park in Delaware has a camping area that is litterally across the highway from the beach. The camping area is just south of the Indian River Inlet. It’s about a 5 minute walk from the campsites to the ocean.
You can also walk to the beach from the campsites at Cape Henlopen State Park, but the walk is much further.
